Please add KE2JAZ to the database (American), I got my technician license an hour ago and would like to set up my QRZ profile.

All US callsigns are automatically added during the near-daily downloads from the FCC. We are unable to add them manually. New callsigns usually appear within a few days of issuance, but on rare occasions it can take as many as 10 days. Once your callsign appears, log out and then back in and you should be able to make any applicable changes or additions to your page.

Great call sign, looking forward to making contact.

There seems to be some sort of disconnect between the FCC Daily files that QRZ is receiving, and what is actually processed by the FCC. My vanity callsign was processed around 07:00 UTC on 8/11, however the QRZ daily FCC log for that day does not list my call at all- and nor does the 8/12 log.
I was assigned KS2D, but here I am still posting under my old call- KC2GYU.
It's creating chaos on the air- I've been called out by people on a local repeater saying I'm using an expired/SK's call illegally because they are searching for it on QRZ. I point them to the FCC ULS to search there as it is accurate. It's also creating an absolute mess of logbooks. People are getting a log from KC2GYU, not KS2D as they are seeing on FT-8.

Sucks to be called out on something beyond your control. Too many hams believe that QRZ is the end-all authority of call sign legitimacy. They're not. Not trying to diminish what QRZ provides. They do us a great service and we'd be far worse off without them. I hope you get right in the database soon. It's a reminder that we should not be rash in our assumptions. Good that you updated your page with the details.

Did you try logging out of QRZ and then logging back in with your new call sign? (Same password)

Yes. I encounter an error: The username you entered is not valid

I don't know why the FCC Logs on the QRZ page- https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?forums/daily-fcc-log.87/ do not match the actual "daily" transactions that occurred on those days.
The post states: "Updates processed on Tue Aug 11 12:31:05 2026". My call was processed by the FCC 07:00 8/11- however it isn't listed in the post.
I opened a ticket, but they say I have to wait till they receive the change from the FCC.
The "FCC Updates" they are getting are either the incorrect dates, or they are incomplete. There is a disconnect somewhere.

The update from the FCC can take a few days even after issuance.
