Will there be an API for this feature once live in production? I can see a logger (or perhaps helper app) reading the CAT freq of your radio, and be able to POST your operating frequency, etc.

I understand that makes it less interactive on the website side, but a nice HTML code on my QRZ profile with my operating frequency would be neat.

It has been raised by multiple beta testers - myself included - and the developers have made encouraging comments, but no commitment yet. I do think that the growth of RTQM users will be limited until there is an API and links have been created from commonly used CAT programs. I've written my own CAT control applications and could easily imagine adding a function to post or update my RTQM entry automatically every time I sit on a single frequency for more than a minute or two.
